Come along and enjoy a hot drink and a cup cake and hear from women in business, listen to their stories of success, how they did it and the pitfalls to avoid.

Gateshead Council is committed to supporting enterprise. Aspiring Women consists of a programme of events developed to support women already in business and those exploring business ideas.

  • Hear from ‘Be Franchising’ about how ‘off the shelf franchises’ can be bought and turned into successful part time businesses
  • Find out about business start up support from Gateshead Council
  • Try the latest craze ‘swishing’ - bring up to five items of clothing or accessories in good condition to swap and renew your wardrobe for free! - Ran by Daisy Green Events.
