Here at Daisy Green events, there is nothing we love more than a great big swap; clothes, shoes, jewellery, books, kids clothes and homewares, we'll swap it. One person's junk is another's treasure and swapping is so much fun (and we think better than throwing items into our landfill sites).
We don't just stop at swapping though.
Last November saw our first Christmas Market at the Shipley Art Gallery, Gateshead, showcasing over 40 local, small businesses all selling their beautiful homemade goodies and helping us raise money for one of our nominated North East charities FACT - Fighting All Cancers Together.
It was such a success, we're planning the Spring Fayre in March as we speak!
We're also delighted to announce our partnership with Hotel du Vin as a host for our events in Newcastle, with our first planned fayre taking place in March.
May 2012 will see the first ever Big Green Expo in Newcastle. As the UK's most sustainable city, we feel that we should celebrate our green credentials and show case all those businesses who's green and ethical policies help define their business practise.
